Who Gave Away the Barn?

The World was behind us 100% after the terrorist attacks on 911. Everyone throughout the World was outraged, sympathatic and was extending true support for America. We now have world opinion heavily mounted against us. How did the world sympathy and support evoparate away so quickly? Similarly, only a couple of years ago, we had a huge (_over Five Trillion Dollars_) surplus, the economy was great and it is now a history. American economy is nowhere near a comeback. The cost of impending wars, the cost of Nation Building that follows after we blow up those countries, and the deficits that are so rapidly piling up may soon add up to over a _Trillion Dollars_ if we continue along these slippery slopes. For many of our fellow Americans who have lost jobs and/or are so badly affected by this slump in US economy, it is back to singing "Too Much Month at the End of the Money..." Apparently, not only have we squandered away the world support, we have also depleted our piggy bank within a short time.
